Elizabeth Trinh

Elizabeth Trinh

Elizabeth Trinh received her B.A. in International Relations, B.S.H. in Science, Technology, and Society, and M.A. in Sociology, all at Stanford University. At Stanford, she was awarded the 2018 Walter Vincente Award, which is given to the student with the highest cumulative GPA among STS graduating seniors pursuing B.S. degrees. She also received the Class of 2018 Stanford Award of Excellence, which is presented to approximately 10% of graduating seniors who exemplified dedication to the university and positive contributions to the Stanford community.

After completing her master’s studies, she was granted the Predoctoral Research Fellowship with Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (PACS). She followed one of her advisors to the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business to pursue a Ph.D. in Management and Organizations.

As a first-generation American, Elizabeth understands how challenging the admissions process can be. She started Top1 Admissions because she is passionate about helping students achieve their educational aspirations. Elizabeth has been coaching high school students through the college admissions process for eight years now, and her students have been accepted to Stanford, Princeton, Duke, Carnegie Mellon, University of California - Berkeley, University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA), and more.

Gabriela Nagle Alverio

Gabriela Nagle Alverio

Gabriela Nagle Alverio is a J.D.-Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Policy at Duke University where she studies the impacts of climate change on human rights and the legal and policy solutions therein.

She received a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University and an M.A. in Environmental Policy from Stanford University. During her time at Stanford, she was elected Class President and later served as a representative to the Graduate Student Council. She was awarded the Stanford Women of Impact Award as well as the Class of 2018 Stanford Award of Excellence due to her dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion.

Gabriela has been coaching high school students through the college admissions process for four years utilizing a holistic approach that includes counseling on standardized tests, guidance on selecting an appropriate portfolio of universities to apply for, assistance in crafting a personal narrative throughout the entire application, and, ultimately, advice on choosing the right university for the student.

Her students have received admission to a wide swath of universities including Columbia University, Cornell University, and Georgetown University.

Lauren Wegner

Lauren Wegner received both her B.A. in the History of Science and Medicine and her M.S. in Community Health and Prevention Research at Stanford University.

 While at Stanford, she was a member of the varsity softball team and she was named an NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete and received Pac-12 All-Academic awards from 2015-2018. She was also awarded the Pac-12 Post Graduate Scholarship for demonstrating excellence in academics, athletics, and leadership throughout career on the varsity athletic team.

During her freshman year, she developed a passion for education and began regularly providing academic tutoring, mentorship, and college prep coaching to local high school students.

After her master’s degree, she returned to her hometown, Omaha, Nebraska, to attend medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she was awarded a full-ride scholarship for her stellar academic performance.

Lauren is involved in research with the gynecologic oncology, neonatology, and trauma departments, and she is currently completing her honors educational tract in Clinical Medical Education.

Outside of her academic work, she is a member of her medical school’s admissions committee and enjoys providing mentorship to students throughout the application process.

Leesa Quinlan

For her undergraduate education, Leesa Quinton received admissions into Harvard, Princeton, and Yale (she only applied to three schools).

Ultimately, she decided to attend Harvard University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Government with Honors. After graduation, she worked at Boston Consulting Group as a consultant for four years. 

Leesa is currently an MBA student at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, but she received offers from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Columbia Business School and Law School (for a joint JD-MBA).

Leesa is committed to high school admissions coaching, which she has been passionate about for several years now.

Micaela Rodriguez

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Micaela Rodriguez completed high school at Poly Prep Country Day School. Afterward, she attended Harvard University and received a B.A in Psychology with highest honors and magna cum laude.

At Harvard, Micaela received the John Harvard Scholar Award, which is awarded to the top 5% of the class. She was also selected to join Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious academic society for undergraduate students.

Micaela is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology at the University of Michigan. At Michigan, she has received the prestigious Rackham Merit Fellowship, as well as other research prizes. She has published 8+ scientific articles and a book chapter on her original research on mental health, social media, and loneliness.

Chris Kokoczka

Chris Kokoczka

Chris Kokoczka graduated from the University of Michigan with High Honors and attended the University in Oxford, Saïd Business School on an academic scholarship (GMAT score: 99th percentile), after receiving acceptances from the University of Cambridge - Judge Business School and University of Michigan, Ross School of Business as well.

Outside of scholastics, Chris has pursued a diversity of interests, including bodywork (structural integration and Thai massage practitioner), traveling (70+ countries and counting), yoga (licensed instructor), breathing (breath-work coach), and sports (former All-State golder and Golden Gloves boxer).

His main passion is coaching students, and he is dedicated to helping young minds craft their academic and personal profiles and tell their story in an open, honest, and convincing way to admission officers.
